Keto Shrimp Egg Omelette
Our keto shrimp omelette is a delicious and healthy way to start your morning. Packed with healthy fats and protein with minimal carbs, this breakfast will help keep you on track for your ketogenic diet.
Eggs and shrimp both have higher fat and protein profiles with minimal carbohydrates, so these ingredients make a great choice in any ketogenic recipes.
Use grass-fed butter (or ghee) and a small amount of coconut oil add a little more fat to the recipe.
- Grass-fed butter or ghee (1 tbsp)
- Coconut oil (1 tbsp)
- 2 eggs
- 5 Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- Chopped spring onion
- Chopped garlic (1/2 tsp)
- Salt and ground black pepper
Heat the pan and add coconut oil. When the oil is hot, add in the butter and stir on low heat.
Add in chopped garlic and add a pinch of salt to taste. Stir fry under low heat until garlic is browned
Add shrimp and increase to medium heat. Stir fry until shrimp turn pink.
Break 2 eggs into the pan and stir the shrimp into the egg. Allow the eggs to cook.
Flip eggs over to cook the other side.
Remove omelette from the pan and then sprinkle chopped spring onion on the omelette as garnishing.
Ready to serve.
